Tropical Storm Erin Could Affect InterCaribbean Airways Flights

InterCaribbean Airways is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Erin, which could impact several flights across the Eastern Caribbean over the next few days. While airline officials say all operations are currently normal, travelers are being urged to stay alert for possible schedule changes.

In a statement issued Thursday afternoon, the airline confirmed that flights between Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Tortola, Santo Domingo, and San Juan could be affected on August 15 and 16. Passengers traveling on routes including Antigua–Barbados, Tortola–Antigua, and Tortola–San Juan are advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport.

Passengers are encouraged to monitor weather updates, check their email and social media for notifications, and ensure contact details are current for timely alerts. InterCaribbean also offers rebooking options without change fees for weather-related cancellations.

Travelers who wish to change their plans can manage bookings online at InterCaribbean’s website or contact customer service at [email protected] for personalized assistance.

The airline will continue to provide updates as Tropical Storm Erin develops.
