Leader of the United Progressive Party (UPP), Jamal Pringle, has been officially nominated as the party’s candidate for the All Saints East and St Luke constituency.
Speaking with reporters following his nomination, Pringle expressed confidence that he will be re-elected, pointing to the constituency’s longstanding support for the UPP.
He described the seat as a stronghold for the party and said he remains optimistic about securing another victory at the polls.
Pringle will face a challenge from the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) candidate, Lamin Newton, in what is expected to be a closely watched contest.
